Civic Education Week (CEW)
A one-week program in Washington, DC (for CBYX students, in Nov/Dec/Jan; for YES/FLEX students in Feb/Mar) organized by American Councils. The program provides an opportunity for students to gain a better understanding of some of the key concepts and values that are an integral part of U.S. society and culture. Participants learn firsthand about the U.S. federal system of government and other important concepts through seminar discussions, briefings, and meetings on Capitol Hill. YES and FLEX students will learn more about the application process in October.
